In this final amalgamation of Lobert’s dedication and devotion to the United Arab Emirates, a poetic souvenir of her past and present impressions glorifies the canvas as if swimming underwater, or just behind a veil of bygone days. Each stroke conclusive of a shard of devotion to a special place, the waters, the panoramic skies, the effusive gold of glam and sand and culture, all vying for esteem within the artist’s uncalculated, undiluted, and non-manipulated eye, hand, and authenticity of spirit. Night captured in the upper left, day expressed central, and a drenched canvas collude to bid this series adieu.
