Whereas Lobert boldly wrote her name for the first time ever on the painting prior to this one, for this work, she scrawled her name several times in the background before engaging in a boisterous peek-a-boo attempt at hiding its existence. A whimsical red figure orchestrates this dance as liquid balls of white storm through the plane, shooting like asteroids sprinkling bits of stardust across the scene. There is a sense of the individual and the universal colliding at one with present space and time—a capsulation of cosmic union where time collapses beyond the linear. It is the only piece where the artist mixed water with paint to inform a splash effect.
