As seen specifically debuted in this series, the introduction of gold paint takes a prominent role in this sixth rendering, facilitating a complete expressive abstraction of the United Arab Emirates flag. The authentic black, red, white, and green elements of the national are there, yet hovering just below the surface of the artist’s effusive additional hue. The gilded land of her memory materialized in a newly chosen shade obliterating identification and lending a personal mark of an outsider’s notion, scratched on top with a fork like tool to combine the layers in unison.
