A remarkable visual difference comes into play through this piece’s unusual composition and the placement of strokes. A sense of elation and elevation is seen in the solo green figure tinged with yellow, almost as if the artist has conquered her journey through isolation and is now floating above the chaos, inspired to situate herself and her journey inside of a black and purple square frame. The surge of central red, both pale and dark, becomes ever more magnetizing by the many spots of raw canvas that further emphasize a return of the light.
