Bustling activity occurs in the background as charcoal and grey forms animatedly liven a blue base, which is seen through a hint of uncalculated window in the foreground layer of luscious deep purple and slate wash. Dabs of red merrily cherry the top provoking a tongue-in-cheek wonder toward what the artist’s subconscious is choosing to reveal versus hide. This turn toward a more rambunctious expression can be seen as a sign of optimism after a storm, a tilt from the furious back to the familiar, as signs of the end of quarantine, begin to hover near.
