A mash up of wildly vivid colors from Lobert’s oeuvre meld to create this thoroughly jovial piece. Customarily, we see a maelstrom of emotion expressed through various hues, strokes, and outbursts, each color rendering a space of its own. What is unique though, is the presence of an uncustomary white outlined triangle on the upper left ... a small seed impregnated in a wash of emotion, a tiny totem to the artist’s recognition amongst the pure unfiltered abyss. It’s joyous in its obvious presence while also eschewing its dominance.
