A seminal piece, and final one of the series, this work was painted while the artist sobbed after breaking her piano. Her favorite instrument, and one Lobert plays regularly, can be seen completely obliterated into a black abstract field. This field is covered with random patches of green, orange, and yellow, perhaps grief-stricken appearances of her original compositions that called this piano home. The entire surface is then aggressively and violently scraped with nails in a final visual dirge of mourning.
